PARTICIPATION IN THE SPECIAL OPERATIONS FORCES DAY

The leadership of the NATO Counter Intelligence Centre of Excellence took part in the celebration of Special Operations Forces Day.

The ceremony, hosted at the Special Operations Forces Component Command, opened with the raising of the Polish national flag and brought together units representing the most capable formations of the Polish Armed Forces.

The event honoured the professionalism, dedication and daily service of soldiers and civilian personnel. State decorations, ministerial medals and promotion acts were presented, recognising achievements earned in the most demanding operational environments. Marking the anniversary of the 2007 establishment of the Special Forces as a distinct branch of the Polish Armed Forces, the celebration also featured a presentation of specialist equipment used in contemporary special operations.

The presence of the Centre’s leadership served as a clear expression of respect and appreciation for the men and women of the Special Operation Forces. On behalf of the NATO Counter Intelligence Centre of Excellence, sincere congratulations and best wishes for continued success, safe service and unwavering determination were extended to all personnel contributing to the security of the Alliance.
