The leadership of the NATO Counter Intelligence Centre of Excellence participated in the observance of the 2nd Polish Corps – Land Forces Component Command holiday and the anniversary of the Battle of Monte Cassino.
The ceremony, held on 18 May 2026 at Wawel Cathedral and the arcaded courtyard of Wawel Castle, began with a mass and continued with the official proceedings. It featured a formal military ceremony led by the Commander of the 2nd Polish Corps, including the national anthem, official addresses, and the presentation of distinctions.
The commemoration provided an important opportunity to reaffirm institutional ties. The NATO CI COE is located on the grounds of the 2nd Polish Corps, and the presence of its leadership underscored the strong practical cooperation and ceremonial links between the organisations. Their participation highlighted ongoing collaboration in areas of mutual interest, strengthening day‑to‑day cooperation and the shared commitment to preserving military tradition.
The Centre’s leadership extended their best wishes to all soldiers and civilian staff, expressing their appreciation and wishing them continued success on the occasion of their Corps Day.
