The US Consul General in Kraków, Ms. Erin Nickerson, visited the NATO Counter Intelligence Centre of Excellence.
The visit was hosted by the NATO CI COE Director, COL Mariusz Nogaj, and the Chief of Staff, Mr. Andrew Hodgkins, who presented an overview of the NATO CI COE history, current tasks, projects, and future challenges. After some discussion Consul General Nickerson toured the Centre’s facilities, including the newly opened training and conference building. The new facility will significantly expand and improve the Centre’s ability to conduct all its activities. In the end, the Consul General thanked the Centre for the opportunity to visit and learn more about what the NATO CI COE is doing to support NATO.
The visit was an element of the broad cooperation of the NATO CI COE with Sponsoring Nations and Cooperating Partners. The United States is one of eleven countries sponsoring the NATO CI COE, and has personnel assigned to the Centre’s staff.
