On September 30, 2022, the symbolic opening of the second facility, which became part of the NATO Counter Intelligence Centre of Excellence building complex, took place.
In September, a general renovation of the building was completed, inside which modern conference and training facilities necessary for implementing program activities by the Centre were created. The symbolic opening, which took place after the ceremony of handing over the director’s duties, was carried out by Marcin Ociepa the Secretary of State in the Polish Ministry of National Defence, Marian Majer, the Secretary of State in the Slovak Ministry of Defence, BG Maciej Materka, the Head of the Polish Military Counterintelligence Service, BG Juraj Štefanka, Deputy Director of the Slovak Military Intelligence, and directors of the NATO CI COE, Colonel Mariusz Nogaj and Colonel Martin Achimović.
The facility’s adaptation work was financed from the budget of the Polish Ministry of Defence.
