Mobile Education and Training Team (METT), consisted of specialists from the NATO Counter Intelligence Centre of Excellence, conducted the first off-centre course.
For almost two weeks of June, experts from the Education and Training Branch conducted a NATO CI Course in Bratislava in Slovakia. Based on the request, our METT trained them first the basics about counter-intelligence in NATO to prepare the participants for their future jobs abroad. Secondly, a practical part was conducted. A short exercise in order to have all the learned stuff included and practice as much as possible was executed.
It was not the first task organized by METT. Earlier, CI COE’s experts prepared and conducted a seminar on the subject “Counter Intelligence within NATO” also held in Slovakia.

Mobile Education and Training course/seminar at an off-site location is designed to provide a standard or a tailored course, meeting the requesting customers’ specific needs. An advantage of METT is that the number of students from the requesting customer can be higher, and the cost per student is reduced.
