Members of the Polish Parliamentary Committee for Special Services visited the NATO CI COE.
The commission’s chairman, Waldemar Andzel, with vice-chairman Jarosław Krajewski and two members of the commission – Marek Suski and Maciej Gdula – came to the NATO CI COE for a short working visit. Colonel Marek Utracki, Deputy Chief of Polish Military Counterintelligence Service also attended the meeting.
In the beginning, the director of the Centre, Colonel Mariusz Nogaj, welcomed the parliamentarians. Then he comprehensively presented its current tasks, projects, and future challenges facing the institution he heads. After the presentations, the meeting participants had the opportunity to discuss the recent achievements and directions for further development of the NATO CI COE.
The visit of parliamentary committee members was the third since the establishment of the NATO CI COE. Previously, parliamentarians had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the tasks carried out by the Centre in 2018 and 2019. As a result, visitors had a better perspective on the development of the Centre and could assess the progress that has been made since then. Today, the Centre, which is still a relatively young institution, already effectively plays the role of a force multiplier and an expert hub for the CI Community, thus enabling the Alliance’s forces to achieve the highest level of interoperability and integration.
