STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING

Steering Committee members once again gathered to discuss, review, and guide the Centre’s strategy, progress, and direction.

The spring edition of the NATO Counter Intelligence Centre of Excellence (NATO CI COE) Steering Committee Meeting (SCM) was held in Cologne at the invitation of the German Military Counterintelligence Service (Bundesamt für den Militärischen Abschirmdienst, BAMAD). The President of BAMAD, Martina Rosenberg, hosted one of the events of the SCM programme which was an excellent opportunity to engage participating members of the international CI Community.

The meeting was an opportunity to review the Centre’s progress in implementing projects over the past year and the upcoming challenges that 2024 will bring. The key staff also presented various aspects of NATO CI COE operations. Coherently with the lines of effort, issues related to implementing the Programme of Work, personnel matters, budget implementation, and current matters were discussed.

Afterward, voting took place, during which SCM members approved the proposed directions for the Centre’s operation and the date of the next meeting, which is scheduled for the fall.
