1st STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING

The first Steering Committee meeting was held in Kraków on October 20, 2016, where NATO CI COE has finalized its way to achieve the NATO accreditation criteria and completed the planning process for 2017.

The product of planning is the Program of Work (POW) 2017 that includes major projects and events concerning concept development, doctrine, training, and lessons learned to contribute expertise to the Alliance’s transformation and increase the awareness within NATO.

The Steering Committee (SC) is the main body set up by the Supporting Nations for the guidance, oversight, and decisions on all matters concerning the establishment, administration, and operation of a COE and its Program of Work. The SC consists of one representative from each Supporting Nation and meets biannually. SC’s most crucial task is to establish a Program of Work and approve a multinational budget that enables its implementation.
