At the end of October the NATO Counter Intelligence Centre of Excellence held the second in 2023 Steering Committee meeting.
During the meeting, the Steering Committee (SC) members were informed about executing this year’s Programme of Work and the actual status of the 2023 budget. Then, the Programme of Work and the associated budget planned for 2024 were evaluated by the Steering Committee. Both of these documents were unanimously approved.
During the meeting, the Director of the Centre also informed SC members about the planned widening of the educational portfolio and presented the main assumptions of the new course. The commitment to participate in military exercises at the operational level and the cooperation policy with non-NATO members was also discussed.
At the end of the meeting, a date, place, and host nation were set for the next Steering Committee meeting, which will be held next spring.
