A delegation from the Intelligence and Security Service (ISS) of the Ministry of Defense of Slovenia visited the NATO CI COE.

During the visit, Mr Andrej Fefer, the Intelligence and Security Service (ISS) Director General, and his delegation had the chance to receive several presentations on the main projects developed by the Centre. In the first part of the meeting, the Director, Col Mariusz Nogaj presented the Centre, while in the second part, the key staff provided briefings about the main projects and activities. The meeting was highly productive, and several common topics and challenges were discussed. At the end of the meeting, Mr Fefer expressed his appreciation for the high profile of the projects, stating that it was an excellent opportunity to share information and discuss the training, exercises, and missions provided.

The visit showcased Slovenia’s commitment to developing the Centre’s capabilities and highlighted COE’s mission to enhance NATO’s proficiency in CI. The Centre achieves this through collaboration, improving doctrines, providing state-of-the-art training, and collecting lessons learned that are available to all member nations.
